Is there free Wi-Fi? Are there smart TVs with streaming services?

We offer complimentary Wi-Fi services throughout the property for all our guests. Given that the bandwidth in the wider hilly region of Munnar/Anachal, the bandwidth available on air-fiber is limited, streaming services are not possible. Cable TV is provided, and streaming services are restricted on our 42-inch smart televisions.

Do rooms have a kettle/coffee maker, an iron, and an electronic safe?

We provide a kettle and an electronic safe in all our rooms. An iron and an ironing board have to be requested from housekeeping.

Can I request an extra bed or a baby cot? Is there a charge for this?

An extra bed for adults or a child is chargeable. Baby Cot is not chargeable.

Which room categories offer a mountain or forest view?

All our rooms have a mountain or forest view.

What are the standard check-in and check-out times?

The check-in time is 2:00 PM or later, whereas the check-out time is 11:00 AM or earlier.

Do you offer early check-in or late check-out? Is there an additional fee?

Late Check-out is subject to availability. Additional charges may apply.

Can I store my luggage at the resort before check-in or after check-out?

Yes, you may store your luggage pre-check-in/post check-out for a limited period at management’s discretion.

What documents are required at the time of check-in?

Indian Citizens: Government-issued photo IDs, such as a passport, an Aadhar Card, or a driver’s license, are required for all guests who are going to be staying at the resort. It is a government-mandated requirement.

Foreign Nationals/Citizens of Other Countries: Presentation of the original valid passport along with a valid Indian visa is mandatory at the time of check-in. This requirement is in accordance with Indian law, including the Foreigners Act, 1946, and applicable registration rules governing the stay of foreign guests in hotels.

Is breakfast included in the room rate? What are the timings and dining location?

Breakfast is commonly included in the room rate unless the guest has specifically chosen a room-only plan, also known as 'European Plan'. Breakfast is served in Machaan, and is usually served between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM.

How many restaurants are on-site?

Currently, the resort has a multi-cuisine restaurant called Machaan.

Do you cater to vegan, gluten-free, or Jain dietary requirements?

Yes, we do offer vegan and gluten-free choices, though they are limited. There are some items in the menu which are vegan and gluten-free. If the guest informs us in advance, we will gladly try to make vegan and/or gluten-free items, subject to the availability of ingredients.

Is 24-hour room service available?

Room service is available from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Is on-site parking available?

Yes, free parking is available.

Is there an EV charging facility?

Currently, we don’t provide an EV charging facility at the premises.

Do you provide airport or railway station transfer services?

We use a third-party service provider to provide pick up/drop off to or from the Kochi International Airport and also from Ernakulam Train Station on a chargeable basis. These services can be requested through the resort's guest relations/Travel Desk/Front Office of the resort. Call +91 97 7896 8500 to request transfer arrangements to and from the resort.

What adventure activities can guests enjoy near the resort?

Guests looking for thrills can visit Dreamland Adventure Park (~4 km) for zip-lining, trampoline activities, and zorbing, or head to Wonder Valley Adventure and Amusement Park (~6 km) for adventure rides, a water park, natural waterfalls, and even hot air balloon experiences. For nature-focused exploration, Flora and Fauna Eco Park, Adimali (~20 km) offers interactions with exotic birds, fish, reptiles, and fruit-bearing plants from around the world.

Are there any waterfalls or quick nature getaways nearby?

Yes, there are several scenic spots perfect for short visits. Ripple Waterfalls (~7 km) offers a peaceful escape, while Attukad Waterfalls (~15 km) is ideal for photography and short treks. Guests can also visit Lakkam Waterfalls (~40 km) for a refreshing day surrounded by nature. Chithirapuram Viewpoint (~10 km) is another charming stop known for its tea plantations and colonial-era ambience.

Where can guests explore wildlife near Munnar?

Nature lovers can visit Eravikulam National Park (~26 km), home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and stunning views of Anamudi Peak. For a different ecosystem experience, Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary (~65 km) offers opportunities for wildlife spotting amidst dry forests and unique landscapes.

Are there lakes or dams worth visiting nearby?

Absolutely! Mattupetty Dam (~25 km) is popular for boating, scenic reservoir views, and nearby tea factory visits. Kundala Lake (~40 km) offers peaceful pedal boating experiences, while the iconic Idukki Dam (~43 km) impresses visitors with its remarkable architecture set between 2 granite hills.

Where can guests explore wildlife near Munnar?

Guests can explore several breathtaking viewpoints, including Echo Point (~30 km) for its unique echo phenomenon, Top Station (~53 km) for panoramic valley views, Lockhart Gap Viewpoint (~30 km) for misty landscapes and tea estates, and Pothamedu Viewpoint (~17 km) for sweeping plantation vistas.

Can guests experience Munnar’s tea heritage and local culture?

Yes, guests can visit the Kannan Devan Tea Museum (~15 km) to learn about tea history and processing. Munnar’s sprawling tea plantations are perfect for scenic walks and photography. For a meaningful cultural experience, Srishti Trust (~22 km) offers insight into community initiatives supporting differently-abled children and young adults in the plantation region.

Are there any unique experiences near the resort?

For something different, guests can visit Anakulam (~40 km), where wild elephants frequently wander near village areas. Kolukkumalai Tea Estate (~43 km) offers sunrise experiences at one of the world’s highest tea plantations, while Marayoor Sandalwood Forest (~56 km) is known for its sandalwood trees and ancient dolmens.

What are the swimming pool timings?

Swimming pool timings are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Parents are responsible for their children with them in the pool. The adult pool is 1.2 metres deep, and there are no lifeguards present.

What are spa timings?

The Ayurvedic Healing Centre is open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Do you have a dedicated kids' club or babysitting services?

There is a kids’ play area for them to enjoy certain activities such as carrom, air hockey, and swings. No dedicated babysitting services are available on the property.

Can the resort host weddings or corporate events? What is the maximum capacity?

The resort is capable of hosting weddings and other corporate events on the rooftop, open garden, and banquet hall. The resort can handle up to 150 guests.

Do you need my credit card details for a guaranteed reservation?

We prefer advance payment for a guaranteed reservation or a credit card with pre-approval for a guaranteed reservation.

What is the cancellation policy?

Typically, all our bookings can be cancelled with 7 days' advance notice. However, group bookings can be cancelled with 30 days' advance notice. Special terms and conditions apply for holidays and festive seasons, such as Christmas, New Year's, Republic Day, Independence Day, Diwali, Onam, Eid, and Durga Puja holidays. Please contact our Reservations team to understand our Cancellation policies.

Do you accept digital wallets, UPI, or international credit cards?

We accept the following forms of payment:
Net banking, Wire Transfer, Credit Card, Debit Card, Digital Wallets, UPI, and cash. We do not accept cheques. Bills have to be settled at the time of checkout. We don’t extend credit.
